Details of a case

The case detail page displays various informations relating to the selected case. The page is separated into 3 parts:

  • The upper part with the general informations of the case and its status
  • The left part with a graphical view (flowchart or gantt) of the case
  • The right part displaying different informations about other case data (if present), task-by-task details and predictions (if the case status is calculated)

General informations and case status

The upper part summarizes the initial informations of the selected case which was in the table on the previous page. You will also find an icon next to the case ID. This icon is subject to changes depending on the status of the case. There are 3 statuses:

  • Status Unknown: It is not known if the case is finished or in progress because there is no end of cas rule.
  • Status In Progress: The case has not reached the end condition defined by the end of case rule, so it is considered as still in progress.
  • Status Completed: The case fulfills the conditions to be considered as a completed case.

Global Information

Case view

The left part represents the progress of the case, all the tasks it has performed are displayed. Unlike in "Analysis", you can only interact with the view in 2 ways:

  • Zoom and change orientation
  • Change from the flowchart view to a so-called Gantt view

In both types of view, the data displayed will always be the duration of the case in the task or the link.

Other case data and Details menu

The right part of the page is separated into several data displayed (or not), depending on whether the information is present or not.

Case Dimensions and Metrics

If your project has dimensions and metrics with defined aggregation, the aggregate values ​​for each dimension and/or metric will be displayed just above the right menu (otherwise nothing will be displayed). Scope of the aggregation is also displayed (T for Task aggregation, C for Case aggregation), then the aggregation type (minimum value, distinct values ...)

Case details, task-by-task

In the menu named "Details" you will find a table showing various information related to the tasks of the case, the name of the task, the start and end date, the duration and the dimensions and metrics of task.
